PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
THE BEGINNING
Born in Rome in 1953, since young, is attracted by the world of communication in its various forms. He began as a junior art director in a small but lively professional reality, and after the first two years of industry experience goes to the production of the most important Roman society of advertising production. Took his first steps into the world of multinational agencies coming in 1976 in the account department of Troost Campbell-Ewald - Interpublic Group - and for 6 years he worked on the most important clients of the agency, General Motors and Goodyear. Subsequently enters ata univas - Havas Group - where he was in charge as client service director for British Leyland, Valtur and Maggiore. in 1986 he was called by Gian Luigi Botter, historic founder and CEO of the Italian branch of FCB – Foote, Cone & Belding, to manage the company's headquarters in Rome, where he then began his managerial career.
THE MANAGERIAL CAREER
In 1989 he was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Ted Bates Italia, and held the position until 2003. He worked at the development of the Rome and Milan headquarters, leading the communications campaign for the most important Italian public institutions (Ministeries and Regions, Poste Italiane, Ferrovie Dello Stato, Finmeccanica Group, Agip Petroli) and for many of the mainstream national and international corporations (Philips, Daewoo, Rover, Nissan, Roche, GM, Deutche Back, Mondadori, RCS Group). He was elected Vice President of Bates Europe, beginning in 1998 he was also entitled Regional Director for Bates Belgium, Bates Greece, Bates Netherlands, Bates Turkey, managing and monitoring the respective financial plans .
From 2003 to 2009 he was Country Manager of Publicis Italy, part of Publicis Groupe, a holding company listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, with a net revenue of more than 5 billion euro. In these six years he developed the integrated business of Publicis Italy giving rise to several specialized companies defining the perimeter of a broad-spectrum communication activities to capture the extraordinary changes that the digital world offers. Devote to business development, he achieved significant sales and profits growth, and successfully managed major public clients (Ministries, Regions, INPS, Alitalia, etc.) and private (Nestle, Renault, L'Oreal, Club Med, Hewlett-Packard, Ikea, Etc .).
Expert team builder, focused in the innovation of the communications sector, always seeking innovation through the many workshops that he attended. He coordinated the major no-profit campaigns of Unicef, Amnesty International, Mani Tese, Global Fund, FAO, ADMO, UNDP/ United Nations. In addition he has been communication advisor of FINMECCANICA Holding and member of the advisory board of GEA consulting.
